About Me

Marena Bronson  is a  journalist, entrepreneur, and model. She's worked for local and cable broadcast outlets around the United States as a reporter, anchor, producer, and host covering everything from breaking news to entertainment.

As a life-long nerd she started looking for ways to start writing more about some of her passions (like movies and Star Wars). This led her to writing assignments for a variety of pop culture websites and eventually starting her own entertainment and fashion website, Fashion and Fandom.

Originally from San Antonio, Texas, she was discovered by a talent scout for a modeling agency as a teenager where her career in fashion started. Since then she's worked in both the print and digital mediums, and walked in runway shows around the world. 

Marena decided to pick up some circus skills along the way (since life is sometimes  a circus  anyway so why not?!). She also likes to spend time in the air (literally) as an aerial instructor, coach and choreographer sharing her love of movement and dancing in the air with aspiring aerialists and performers. 

When she's not working you can find Marena with her nose in a book, at the beach, taking in an art exhibit with friends, or with her cat  in San Diego, California.
